Gillthwaite Rigg is the larger part of an Edwardian Country House set in its own secluded and peaceful gardens and woodland, rich in wildlife including badgers, roe deer and red squirrels. It is situated a few hundred yards from the Dales Way path.

Walkers are welcome to leave their car with us (at their own risk) in safe and private parking whilst they undertake their walk. It is an ideal base to spend a few days exploring the Lake District before or after the walk.

The elegant accommodation consists of one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and views of the Lakeland fells and one twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom.

Colour TV and coffee/tea making facilities are provided. Renowned for excellent breakfasts served in the spacious dining room.
