The 17th Century house is reputed to have been originally a Malthouse for Monks from nearby abbeys and is set in a large and lovely garden.

For centuries the historic village of Grassington has been recognised as 'The Capital of Upper Wharfedale'.

The house is the home and studio of artist Valerie Emmerson and throughout the year is home to exhibitions of sculpture and painting.

Scar Lodge offers two comfortable double bedrooms, traditionally furnished with views over the garden and surrounding hills.
