Step inside this lovely old Dales Inn and you leave behind the hussle and bustle of everyday life and enter a more tranquil yesteryear. Set amid the rising fells of Langstrothdale beside the River Wharfe and on the Dales Way, The George Inn with its stone flagged floors, mullioned windows and open fire offers you a warm welcome all year round. The wonderful undulating fells provide walks to suit all - gentle circular walks, strolls by the river or more challenging climbs taking in Buckden Pike and nearby villages. The little 13th century church across the bridge with its rare rood loft and pews by 'Mousey Thompson' offers peace and respite after the days excursion.
Six en-suite letting rooms are available comprising of 2 twins and 4 doubles. Rates are from £56 for 2 people sharing and from £38 for single occupancy. All rooms are B&B, with heating, TV and hospitality trays.

Three day mid-week winter breaks have a 25% discount, two day weekend winter breaks have a 15% discount. In the summer a three day mid week break carries a discount of 15%.
Home cooked meals, using local produce are available every day in the two cosy bar areas. Lunch orders are between 12 noon and 2pm. Evening orders are between 6.30pm and 8.45pm. Black Sheep and Tetley real ales and a fine selection of wines will complete your meal.
